We are delighted to announce the details of the first in our 2014 series of Yes Provan Independence meetings. Our speakers will be Former Labour MP turned SNP MP turned Independence campaigner Jim Sillars and, making her political speaking debut, River City star Carmen Pieraccini.

Our friendly team of Yes Provan campaigners were hard at work on Wednesday night, however there is always time for a quick ‘end of the night selfie’ after canvassing and delivering newspapers!

YES Provan Monthly Meeting - Monday 13th May

Some of our volunteers on Monday 13^th May at our Yes Provan meeting.

After listening to a wonderful speaker; Michelle Roger from Business for Scotland, we then tackled people's fears of talking about independence whether that be while out canvassing or just talking to family and friends. So at first we paired up with each other, one person would ask a question and the other would answer.

After that we did a 'Mock The Week' inspired game. We gave each person 20 seconds to answer a question such as 'I like being in Europe but by voting yes there is no guarantee we would be part of the EU.'  

It was a fun way, to boost everyone's confidence.
